2011

A new year is upon us. I know it’s been ages since I have posted anything here. I figured I should “blow off the dust” so to speak and not totally neglect the blog.

Happy New Year!

Summertime!

Just checking in, July 4th weekend, in the throes of summer, very nice day, low humidity, warm – enjoying the time off, most definitely.

Spring has sprung?

Just checking in after surviving the nasty winter we had, enjoying the arrival of spring.

Google Earth For Android

It’s about friggen time!  The catch though is you have to have Android 2.1 on your device (I just happen to be the owner of a Nexus One so…)  Looks sweet and runs like butter on the N1 too, installed it yesterday while waiting at the hospital (mother had surgery)

Life’s great reward

Is being able to count ones self amongst the living supposed to be reward enough, or is it part of our “raison d’etre” to want and to hope to be more?

Mass Effect 2

The first one never really grabbed my attention but I must say the hype machine  that kicked into gear over Mass Effect 2 has caused me to actually have some interest in it.  Hell,  I didn’t even know it was basically a third person science fiction type shooter.  Does look beautiful though, I just would hope the gameplay is there for it to make it deserving of all the attention.

Cold As S***

I’m sitting here, gearing up for another day at work.  Actually just got out of the shower after coming home early from crashing and a friends place.  I’ve been so tired lately that I don’t even make it all the way home.  Plus some other things going on that are really neither here nor there but just limit my ability to take care of some personal things.  My friend has been so kind as to help me out through this rough patch (of my own making, as usual).

Anyway, It’s been way too cold here – not liking it one bit.

Till next entry (If I don’t post anything before the 31st) Happy New Year!

Snow Snow Snow

Here at home, relaxing after the snowfall – looks like the weather peoples (mainstream media-wise) got things somewhat right with regards to us getting snow here on the east coast.  I had to drive in it saturday morning, nothing plowed except the bridges (Ben Franklin to be precise).  I guess the road crews were waiting for the snowfall to stop.  Get back to the apartment here and I couldn’t even get all the way up the driveway.  Had to park in parking lot instead of inside garage.

Just still chillin – warm and cosy style tho.

Modern Technology

Oh the wonders of modern technology that allow us to have access to the web and not be tied to a desktop computer.
