Life’s great reward

Is being able to count ones self amongst the living supposed to be reward enough, or is it part of our “raison d’etre” to want and to hope to be more?
A user/fan/observer of technology, science and the human condition

I don't claim to know much, but you can bet I have some sort of opinion on it, for better or worse - more than likely worst most of the time, tongue-in-cheek of course always.
