So you’ve come to the “About” link here on the blog.  I’m presuming you’ve done such to try to gain some insight into the method of my madness.  Well, there really isn’t any overarching agenda or desire to dictate/preach etc.  Just wanted to create an independent spot to speak my mind.  I call myself “The Cranky Futurist” because of being optimistic about what lies ahead but being somewhat impatient to get there.  I’m a middle-aged tech type who has grown up reading and watching way too much Science Fiction, but please don’t let that scare you off.  I am a humanist and call me naive but I do believe that the balance between the good and bad with regards to humanity needs to be restored.

As the feeling goes, We need more love in this world.
